My Cute Little Butt Skirt

For quite some time, I've been in the market for a skirt like this: 

Or at least something like this.  I was thinking black.  But basically just a tight little elastic circle that you cover up your lady parts with...or your man parts if that's what you're in to. Its comfortable and easy and it goes with everything and you don't have to worry about exposing yourself to the world that much because of how fitted it is.

Well, over Christmas break when I was in Tucson, Maddie and I went to the mall and I went on a hunt.  Forever 21 had dozens of these skirts (which I've recently realized are called Bodycon skirts...I think...or that might be a brand and I just don't know anything about fashion...).  Go figure.  Forever 21 is the bomb diggity.

I picked out about 8 of them because I was wary of whether or not they would look good on me, so I wanted to make sure I tried on a variety of styles.  See, although I may have a...um...very voluminous butt, it's not the most perfect butt in terms of looking good under really tight, thin things.  Texture issues, you know.

But the most amazing thing happened in the dressing room.  THEY ALL LOOKED GOOD ON ME.  EVERY SINGLE ONE MADE MY BUTT LOOK FANTASTIC.  I couldn't even believe it.  It took a lot of internal struggling to convince myself not to buy every single one they had, but in the end, I settled on a navy blue one with white stripes, and a charcoal gray one.

And then I came back to upstate New York, where it's currently SUPPOSED to be winter.  I didn't actually think I would get the chance to wear them for awhile, but we've hit 60 several times this semester already, and there is no snow on the ground.  In fact we've gotten much more rain than snow. (Which is particularly frustrating this time of year because it's like 34 degrees outside.)

So this weekend, Fiona and I had big plans to go out, and I had big plans to wear my cute little butt skirt. (That's what I call it.  Sometimes I replace the word "cute" with "sexy" depending on my mood/how many hot guys are flashing through my head at that moment.)  After all, the weather had been great.

And then IT FREAKING SNOWED ALL DAY AND NIGHT ON SATURDAY.  Not only did this severely reduce the amount of "going out" we did, it also didn't allow my to wear my cute little butt skirt. I WAS FORCED TO WEAR JEANS. I'm pretty sure that's the coldest it's been all semester, and the most it's snowed.  Just that one day.  When I wanted to wear my skirt.

And today, it's raining again.  All the snow is gone.  I'm convinced we are only going to have 1 weekend of winter this year, and that was it.  Sigh.  Curse you Ithaca.  I will defeat you someday soon though, because I'm going to be here all summer.  The cute little butt skirts will rise above.  Just wait.
